Police Station Visit

A visit to Dattawadi police station, Pune was organized the college on 8th January, 2016 for the students of LL.B. III and B.A. LL.B. Vth to understand the physical structure of a Police Station, nature of duties performed Police officers in a police Station, diary, mallkhana, and other activity of police and to observe the Functioning of a Police Station, how a FIR is lodged and to discuss the role of police in contemporary society with changing trends of crime and criminal Tendency.

On this occasion Shri. Shridhar Jadhav, Senior Police Inspector of Dattawadi police station provided his guidance to the students. He explained the role of police, procedure for filing of FIR and difficulties which police force faces while implementing law in the society. He also answered the questions asked the students. In this visit 60 students of the final year participated.

District Court Visit

The college organizes visits for the students to various places to give them insights about actual working of the law. The college had organized a visit to Pune District and sessions court at Shivajinagar for the students of last third year of LLB and fifth year of BSL on 5th August, 2016.

The students were divided into groups and they were shown offices and procedures in the courts. They were taken to offices like office of registrar, bailiff, Nazar etc. to show them the working of the same.           The students were shown the processes associated with  ready and unready board in the court. In the second stage they were shown functioning of criminal court, appellate court. Lastly the students attended the civil and sessions court and observed their proceedings.
